- ABS plastic is not universally considered to be dishwasher safe, but we have heard of folks successfully washing YOX in a home dishwasher.

How big are YOX?
YOX are designed for large-scale creative play, so they are big! Y, O, and X links are approximately 4.5” tall.
Do YOX work with all TP tubes and paper towel rolls?
- TP tubes and paper towel rolls come all shapes and sizes!
- YOX are designed to work with most commercially-available tubes, but cheaper/thinner tubes will be more loose.
- If your tubes are too loose, try wrapping the ends with masking tape to create more pressure.
Where can I find more tubes?
Here is a link to some tubes we love. We also find the tubes at the core of Plant Paper to be pretty amazing (the toilet paper is nice, too.)

Can I donate my YOX when I'm done with them?
Don’t toss your YOX! We recommend taking your used YOX to the closest school, leaving them in a basket at the front door, ringing the doorbell, and running away.
Just kidding. Don’t do that. But we do recommend calling a nearby school, preschool, or daycare and asking them if they want your YOX. We bet they will say yes, if they don’t, let us know and we’ll help you find your YOX a home.
